PIG IRON

Basic Pig Iron, PL1, PL2, according to GOST 805-95

Chemical composition according to GOST 805-95

We are very interested in production of various foundry grades of pig iron with restricted silicon, manganese, sulphur, phosphorus contents.

Our pig iron ingots are very clean, uniform, and contain fewer impurities if compared to other producers. The generation of fines, chips, dust is also less if compared to others.

Therefore our products are sold at a premium price compared to others.

Granulated Pig Iron

Granulated Pig Iron (GPI) is a refined form of pig iron produced through a process where molten pig iron is rapidly cooled using water, forming small granules instead of traditional pig iron ingots or pigs. This granulation process enhances its handling, storage, and transportation while reducing oxidation and improving efficiency in steelmaking and foundry applications.

GPI is ideal in most metallurgical applications.

  • BOF – clean material and cuts need for scrap
  • EAF – continuous charging, no power off, good carbon source, early liquid pool formation & for foaming slag
  • BF – speeds up hot metal output
  • AOD & LF – clean iron source with specific analysis
  • Casting operators – specific analysis & easy to handle
